EAP-SIM is an EAP authentication standard for authenticating wireless LAN access with mobile phone SIM (Subscriber Identify Modules) cards and the existing worldwide GSM mobile telephone authentication network. Support for EAP-SIM is now included in a number of smart phones.

EAP-AKA and EAP-AKA-PRIME are newer EAP authentication protocols that use UMTS 3rd generation uSIM cards.

Radiator EAP-SIM Module comes with support for Ulticom DSC Diameter-MAP Gateway.
