n CATool is a full source Private Certificate Authority tool for Unix. It can generate private server and client PKI certificates for a variety of applications using the proven integrity of OpenSSL. CATool provides a self-serve interface so that end users requiring certificates can request and collect certificates online via the web. End-users can download certificates in a variety of formats to suit many applications. The CATool self-serve interface works with any web browser. CATool supports one or more administrators who check and grant certificate requests, and who can revoke or renew certificates at any time. CATool certificates optionally support Microsoft Windows extended keys, allowing them to work with Microsoft 802.1X wired and wireless clients. CATool can generate client and server certificates suitable for use with Radiator Radius server.
